Are you a private tenant and want to share your experiences?

Citizens Advice are creating a survey panel made up of renters like you across England to hear about your experiences of private renting.

Why should I get involved?

To help strengthen the voices of private renters in the housing debate.

Be a part of trying to create change in the private rented sector and improve rights for tenants.

What do I have to do to be involved?

If you are a private renter in England, then Citizens Advice wants to hear from you. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been a tenant for 30 days or 30 years.

We will be running surveys every 3 months over 18 months

You can do the survey online or over the phone

Anything you say will be kept completely confidential and you can stop taking part at any point.

We will use the feedback from this survey to build a panel of survey participants, collecting consent and demographic data. We will only ask for the information we need to tell your story or inform our research. This demographic information is collected in order to inform whether particular groups are experiencing different problems or are being unfairly affected. If you don’t want to give us some personal details, you won’t have to.

Who will see the survey?

All responses to the subsequent surveys are anonymous and confidential.

Any use of information from the survey in reports and other outputs will have identifying details removed or changed.

All the data we collect is stored securely on our internal systems and will be stored for 5 years and will be deleted when it is no longer needed. To sign up to the Tenant Voice Survey Panel click on the link to register  or contact Rosie Derricourt (Policy Researcher)
