Campaigning
When someone contacts Citizens Advice St Helens, the cause of their problem is sometimes an unfair policy or practice. Nationally, with over 2 million clients each year, this evidence is hard to ignore and so we use those experiences and stories anonymously to campaign for change by speaking up about the policies and services that are affecting people’s lives. This evidence is then used to inform parliamentary committees.
These are only a handful of campaigns that Citizens Advice are most proud of.
