Citizens Advice St Helens is recruiting to its Board of Trustees
Can you help us to change lives?
Citizens Advice St. Helens is an independent charity and a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux.
We are the largest provider of free specialist advice in St Helens. Our services are delivered through our town centre base and other high-profile agencies. We deliver debt, welfare rights and benefits, energy and generalist advice through our town centre drop-in and various outreach sites as well as telephone advice and support.
We are seeking Trustees to bring their skills and experience to the Board, which sets direction and ensures good governance. Trustees volunteer to bring their time and knowledge to build on our vision. We are welcoming Trustees with relevant professional or life experience.
An opportunity for you to:
►Help set our strategy and contribute to our development
►Ensure those with the greatest need in our community are best able to access specialist debt, housing, and welfare benefits advice
►Meet staff and volunteers and build relationships
We are particularly seeking to diversify our board membership, with skills in:
•voluntary sector
•human resources
•information technology
•charity finance
•community engagement
